In 2010, Teach For America launched the Native Alliance Initiative to deepen partnerships with Native communities. Today they’re working with Native students and leaders in Hawai’i, New Mexico, Oklahoma, South Dakota, the Twin Cities, and Washington state.
Funds programs to improve the lives of Native children and their families.
Works with communities to promote and prepare for health and wellness initiatives.
Provides direct clinical services to patients and continues education trainings on a broad range of specialty behavioral health topics via televideo technology to providers.
The Children’s Bureau recommends legislative and budgetary proposals, operational planning system objectives and initiatives, and projects and issue areas for evaluation, research, and demonstration activities. It also represents ACYF in interagency activities to initiate and implement projects affecting children and families.
NCUIH is a National 501(c)(3) organization devoted to the support and development of quality, accessible, and culturally-competent health services for American Indians and Alaska Natives living in urban settings.
