SafeTALK, about three hours in duration, is a training that prepares anyone over the age of 15 to identify persons with thoughts of suicide and connect them to suicide first aid resources.
SAVE: Suicide Awareness Voices of Education
SAVE was one of the nation’s first organizations dedicated to the prevention of suicide and was a co-founding member of the National Council for Suicide Prevention. This site, along with our work, is based on the foundation and belief that suicide should no longer be considered a hidden or taboo topic and that through raising awareness and educating the public, we can SAVE lives.
Sources of Strength
Sources of Strength is a best practice youth suicide prevention project that utilizes the power of peer social networks to change unhealthy norms and culture and ultimately prevent suicide, bullying and substance abuse. The program is designed to prevent suicide by increasing help help seeking behaviors and connections between peers and caring adults with a focus on Hope, Help and Strength.

Has an American Indian/Alaska Native page, and a newsletter called the Weekly Spark, which offers Suicide Prevention Online Training. Includes directory of programs and practices.
The American Association of Suicidology
Provides resources, including a Youth Suicide Fact Sheet and training for suicide prevention volunteers and professionals.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness
Publishes an American Indian Resource Page for mental illness.
