Citlaly Ortega

Citlaly Hailie-Patricia Ortega (she/her) is a citizen of the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians. She is a full-time student majoring in Political Science at University of California, Riverside, where she is a member of the Women in the Law club and serves as Vice President of AISES. Citlaly also feels fortunate to be a communications intern in public affairs in the Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians, where she has learned about governments, business and collaboration.

Ultimately, her goal and passion is to help the community that has always helped her. As Citlaly continues on her education and career journey, she will always strive to be able to make a change that gives the native community a better quality of life.
