Lorraine Cooley

Lorraine Cooley is 19 years old. She is a member of the San Carolos Apache Tribe where she serves as the current Miss San Carlos Apache Queen. Lorraine currently interns as a Botanist Assistant at a Bureau of Land Management plant nursery. Lorraine is extremely passionate about her people, raising awareness for issues such as Suicide Prevention, Advocacy Against Drugs and Alcohol, and Land Preservation. For the past five years, Lorraine has been an advocate working alongside her tribe’s Law and Order Committee. In her free time, Lorraine enjoys the outdoors, spending time with family and friends, traveling, and learning more about her culture, language, and traditions.
