Anagali (Shace) Duncan (he/him) is a passionate environmental activist and advocate for education equity, currently pursuing studies in Critical Studies in Race and Ethnicity at Stanford University. As a dedicated student, he is minoring in Environmental Justice, reflecting his commitment to addressing crucial issues at the intersection of social justice and environmental protection.
Hailing from the Cherokee Reservation in Oklahoma, Anagali actively engages with his community through his non-profit, 7-Ravens, and serves as a Youth Leader with the Tribal Youth Resource Center. His impactful advocacy work has taken him to platforms, including the White House, the United National Indian Tribal Youth (UNITY) National Conference, and collaborations with the Tribal Law and Policy Institute.
Anagali’s mission revolves around breaking barriers and bringing Indigenous communities into spaces where they have historically been excluded. Through his work in education, policy and environmental protection, he strives to create awareness that rez kids have a rightful place in these environments. His advocacy is a powerful call to recognize and appreciate the valuable contributions Indigenous communities can make to these crucial spheres, promoting inclusivity, representation and positive change.
