I am a full-time college student. I am a contracted Storyteller with an Indigenous-owned organization. I am an early high school graduate. I beaded my jewelry and looking forward to returning to actively jingle dress dancing for the upcoming powwow season.
The moon means to me that my female cycle happens once a month. My ancestors refer to our Sacred Monthy Cycle as being “on our moon.” This is a sacred moment in my life because it represents my opportunity to create future generations. My ancestors taught me that life grows more on a full moon, so I plant seeds on a full moon night to support a successful planting season. The flower in my beadwork represents my fertility and the smaller flowers represent my future children surrounded by colors of love.
