Ignacio Taylor

Ignacio (he/him) is a lineal descendant of the Wichita and Affiliated Tribes, located in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Born and raised in Sacramento, he now attends American River College (ARC) and works in the Native American Resource Center. Ignacio plans to minor in Native Studies at ARC before moving on to a university to finish his college career. Ignacio is passionate about helping others and believes early address yields a much more positive outcome. Growing up in foster care, he often struggled to stay focused on school and out of trouble. Lending a helping hand to others in his community has led him to a healthier place where he has resolved to help address these problems for other Native foster youth.
