What issues affecting Native youth are you passionate about?
The issue I’m most passionate about affecting Native Youth is getting more youth from my tribe active and stepping out of their comfort zones to do programs like this to branch out, and make a change for the Native people.
What does being a 2019 Champion for Change mean to you?
I feel this is a great honor to be chosen to be a Champion for Change. I want to be able to represent my people in the right way and to have the ability
to share our stories, as well as being able to create bonds with the others to create relations for the years to come.
What are you most excited about for Champions for Change Week?
I am most excited about meeting all the other Champions, and learning about where they are from, their tribal background, and creating friendships that will last.
If you had to tell Native youth one thing, what would it be?
I would tell Native youth to get more involved in their local communities, branch out to build relations, and find different programs to apply for like
I had because these are once in a lifetime. It all matters, if you want to make a difference, step out, and do something about it.
What is a fun fact about you or your community?
I serve as the Youth Ambassador for my tribe.
