Being Native American is who and what I AM. I have younger siblings that I want to be a role model for and being the best person I can be is very important. In my tribe we embrace the seven generation way of life. That is how and why I count, the generation before me expects me to learn our ways and the generation after me needs me to teach them our ways. An in my eyes there isn’t a more important way to count.
