Camryn Redmond (she/her) is an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation. She is pursing a B.A. in Economics with a minor in American Indian Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Following her undergraduate education, Camryn intends to enter law school from which she may better serve her people as a tribal lawyer.
Since her arrival at UCLA, Camryn has been actively involved in her campus’ two Native student organizations, the American Indian Student Association (AISA) and the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES). This academic year, she serves on board as treasurer for both entities and is also employed as the Resident Assistant of UCLA’s brand new American Indian/Pacific Islander Living Learning Community. Within this position, Camryn acts as the go-to counselor for Native and Pacific Islander LLC residents and is in charge of the programming UCLA’s Residential Life puts on for these communities.
